Marjorie, a native of Wisconsin, began to study painting at an early age in private classes. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education at the University of Wisconsin, Madison and continued her education at Academia San Carlos in Mexico City where she studied mural drawing. She taught art in the Wisconsin Public Schools and taught drawing in private classes overseas. From 1966 thru 2006 she lived abroad in Spain, Puerto Rico, Nicaragua, Panama, Venezuela, Thailand, France and Hong Kong.
Marjorie enjoys painting scenes and people from the places she has lived and traveled to. Her style often includes pen and ink with watercolor to convey her colorful images. She has exhibited her watercolor paintings overseas in many of the countries where she has lived and has participated in various workshops locally.
She is a Signature Member of the Florida Suncoast Watercolor Society and is also a member or the Delaware Watercolor Society.
