Annual Member Meeting

The 30th Annual Meeting for members was held in Bradenton on Saturday, March 2nd, 2013 at noon immediately following Receiving at the Art Center Manatee.

  • New Slate of Officers Elected
  • Amended By-laws Adopted
  • New Exhibitions & Workshops in Planning
The full slate of candidates presented by the Nominating Committee was elected, effective immediately:
Joanne Myers Warber, President
Mary Louise Ringers, 1st Vice President
Diane Schmidt, 2nd Vice President
Tori Weaver, Treasurer
Carole Dougherty, Recording Secretary
Mina McEvoy, Corresponding Secretary
Nancy Law, Member at Large
Marilyn Charlotte, Member at Large
Roger Parent, Counselor/Immediate Past President

The proposed amended by-laws were approved by a majority of mail-in ballots, and the approval was affirmed by the members at the Annual Meeting. The newly amended by-laws will be posted on our website shortly.

Board of Directors Meetings

The FSWS Board meets on the third Thursday of each month from September to May; the Board does not meet during the summer months. All Board meetings are scheduled between 10 a.m. and noon and are open to members.
